THE HILLINGDON (SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 3) TRAFFIC ORDER 2022
SECTION 90 OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
Hillingdon Council gives notice that on 21st October 2022 it made the above Orders to:
1. Introduce a 20mph zone on the section of Bourne Avenue, Hayes west of the junction with Carnarvon Drive with raised road tables with a maximum height of 75 mm and 1:20 gradient ramps at the following locations:
i) On Bourne Avenue, 65 metres west of the junction with Carnarvon Drive;
ii) On Bourne Avenue, 18 metres southwest from the junction with Skipton Drive;
iii) On Skipton Drive at the junction with Bourne Avenue
vi) On Nine Acres Close at the junction with Bourne Avenue.
2. Introduce a 7.5 tonne weight limit on the entire section of Bourne Avenue, Hayes west of the junction with Carnarvon Drive.
Copies of the Orders which will come into operation on 31st October 2022 can be seen by appointment at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge during normal office hours, for six weeks following the date on which this notice is published. Copies of the Orders can be obtained from the Transport & Projects team, by email parkingmanagementschemes@hillingdon.gov.uk. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which these Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
