STOPPING UP OF LAND AT VALLEY DRIVE, GRAVESEND

I AM GIVING NOTICE THAT The Kent County Council as Local Highway Authority for the County of Kent propose to make an application to the Magistrates’ sitting at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 06/01/2023 at 11:00am for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 to extinguish highway rights on the grounds that they are unnecessary on land adjoining Valley Drive, Gravesend as shown edged red on the plan on deposit.

A copy of the draft order and the plan referred to are on deposit, and can be seen during normal office hours, at the main reception of The Kent County Council at Sessions House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XQ.

Any person to whom this Notice has been given or who uses the highway specified or who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Magistrates’ Court to raise an objection or make a representation on the application.
