PROPOSED EXTINGUISHMENT OF HIGHWAY RIGHTS OVER
LAND ADJACENT TO LAKESIDE, CHURCH CLOSE,
BROUGHTON ASTLEY, LEICESTERSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday 19th April 2023 at 10.00am an application will be made to the Magistrates' Court sitting at Leicester Magistrates Court, 15 Pocklingtons Walk, Leicester for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that the area of highway described in the Schedule below shall be stopped up on the grounds that it is unnecessary.
The effect of the proposed Order is indicated on a plan which is lodged with the Clerk of the said Court at the Magistrates Clerk's Office, 15 Pocklingtons Walk, Leicester where it is available to view, and at my offices Room 200A, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, where it can be inspected, free of charge during all reasonable hours.
Any person wishing to object to the proposal or to make representations about it should appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on the date aforesaid. Any person intending to appear before the Court at the hearing of the application is requested to notify Jane Moore, Chief Executives Department, County Hall Glenfield, Leicester quoting reference JM/HTWMT/5432.
SCHEDULE
An area of highway adjacent to Lakeside, Church Close, Broughton Astley, a total area of approximately 153 square metres.
