PROPOSED STOPPING UP OF PART OF UNCLASSIFIED ROAD NUMBER 40273 “HANOVER GREEN" IN THE PARISH OF REDMARLEY D'ABITOT.
NOTICE is hereby given that an application will be made to the Magistrates’ sitting at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on the 12th of June 2023 at 2pm for an Order to stop up all public highway rights over the area of land described in the Schedule hereto.
Any representations or objections about this application can be put in writing and sent to either the Listing Clerk, HMCTS Gloucestershire, PO Box 9051, Gloucester, GL1 2XG or to the Assistant Director of Legal Services, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG (please quote reference S116/TA245). Alternatively any person may attend the above hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court, 95 St George’s Road, Cheltenham, GL50 3EW on the 12th of June 2023 at 2pm.

SCHEDULE
Description of Highway to be Stopped Up
The area of highway to be stopped up forms part of Unclassified highway no.40273 Hanover Green, in the parish of Redmarley D'Abitot. The land is shown hatched on drawing number TA245:
The section under application is long and narrow in shape, running from the A417 Ledbury Road near its junction with the road to Cobbs Cross (highway number 3/63) in a generally southerly direction to just north of the dwelling of Hanover Green Farm. It is approximately 215m in length and its width varies from between approx. 2.7m and 12.5m (as measured from modern maps).
