1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hackney, in accordance with the Section 90C of the Highway Act 1980 as amended proposes to introduce speed cushions, as detailed in schedule 1 of this notice.
2. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended;
The general effect of the Orders will be as follows;
Albion Road
a) Remove 5m of existing residents parking bay on the eastern kerbline 33m south from the junction with Stoke Newington Church Street and replace it with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions to facilitate a rain garden.
b) Remove 5m of existing resident parking bay on the western kerbline 46m south from the junction with Stoke Newington Church Street and replace it with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions to facilitate a rain garden.
c) Remove 8m of existing resident parking bay on western kerbline 7m north from the extended building line of 159/161 and replace it with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions to facilitate a rain garden.
d) Remove 5m of existing resident parking bay on the eastern kerbline 9m north from the extended boundary line of numbers 178/178.5 and replace it with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions to facilitate a rain garden.
e) Remove 6m of existing resident parking bay adjacent to Avon House 42m from the junction with Clissold Crescent and replace it with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions to provide for vehicle turning movements in front of the road closure.
f) Introduce 6m of double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions from a point 6m north west of Albion Road (B104) to a point 33m south east of its junction with Clissold Crescent.
g) Introduce a prohibition of driving at the junction of Albion Road (B104) with Albion Road leading to Clissold Crescent.
Clissold Crescent
h) Remove 8m of existing residents parking bay from the western kerbline of Clissold Crescent 8m southwest from the junction of Albion Road and replace it with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions to facilitate a rain garden.

4. Any objections or other representations about either of the orders should be sent in writing to Streetscene – Networks Team at the address specified in paragraph 3 above or emailed to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Note: The carriageway will be raised to install speed cushions . The maximum height of the table will be 100mm.
Albion Road
1. 33m south of the junction with Stoke Newington Church Street.
2. 70m south of its junction with Hawksley Road
3. 82m north of its junction with Barbauld Road
4. 6m north from the boundary of 101 & 103
Carysfort Road
1. 16 metres south east from the boundary wall of 1 and 3 to extend to the junction of Albion Road
Clissold Crescent
1. 2m south east from the corner of Medway House to extend to the junction of Albion Road
