Section 228 Highways Act 1980 (‘the Act’), land at Luke Road, Aldershot GU11 3BW

Street works have been executed at Luke Road, Aldershot GU11 3BW, some of the land where the works have been carried out is not highway maintainable at the public expense (plan available on request).

Now Hampshire County Council as the Street Works Authority for the above-named area declares that the land shall become a highway maintainable at the public expense on the expiration of a period of one month from the date when this notice is first displayed, that is one month from 16 November 2023. The street shall become a highway maintainable at the public expense unless the owner of the street or, if more than one, the majority of the owners, object in writing or by email to the contact below.

Any person who believes he/she owns the land or part thereof should contact Jennifer Chrzanowski in Legal Services, Hampshire County Council at jennifer.chrzanowski@hants.gov.uk or in writing with the reference Legal/PJE/147326, to the address below before no later than 18 December 2023.

A copy of the plan has been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Reception offices of Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ or alternatively if you would like a copy of the plan emailed to you please contact Ms J Chrzanowski detailed above.
