STOPPING UP OF A HIGHWAY: BIG APPLE, DULOE, LISKEARD, CORNWALL, PL14 4PL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Cornwall Council as Highway Authority propose to apply to the Justices sitting in the Bodmin Magistrates Court, The Law Courts, Launceston Road, Bodmin, PL31 2AL on Tuesday 27th February 2024 at 2.00pm for an Order under the Provisions of Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping up and removal of highway rights over part of the highway known as Big Apple, Duloe, Liskeard, Cornwall, PL14 4PL which is more particularly delineated and coloured red on the plan; The Cornwall Council being of the opinion that the said length of highway is unnecessary.
A plan showing the effect of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at Reception, The Cornwall Council, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 3AY, from 9.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday inclusive (except Bank and Public Holidays). Notices and plans will also be posted on the site at least 28 days before the application is made to the court. Any person who uses the highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order has a right to attend the Court and be heard on the application. Anyone intending to do so should inform the undersigned, indicating the nature of his/her representations.
