The Department for Infrastructure (“the Department”) today made an order vesting certain lands in the Department under the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972 and The Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, for the provision of the Lagan Pedestrian Cycle Bridge from the Gasworks to Ormeau Park, Belfast, County Antrim.

A copy of the vesting order and related map may be inspected, by appointment during office opening hours at the Department for Infrastructure, Roads Eastern Division, Annex 7, Castle Buildings, Stormont Estate, Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast BT4 3SQ. An electronic copy may also be obtained by emailing dfiroads.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Vesting Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Department or that the statutory procedures have not been followed may, within one month from the date of publication of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
