LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

THE BRENT (SPEED LIMITS) (NO. 3) TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent on 17th June 2024 made the above-mentioned Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the ‘Speed Limits’ Order will be to impose a maximum speed limit of 20 miles per hour in the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 1st July 2024, of maps of the relevant areas and of the above-mentioned Order (and of any Orders which have amended that Order) can be requested via email during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at trafficorders@brent.gov.uk.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE

1. Bridge Road, Wembley, between 15 metres south-west of the south-western boundary of No. 55 Bridge Road, Wembley and Wembley Park Drive;

2. North End Road, between Bridge Road, Wembley and the south-eastern boundary of Victoria Halls, North End Road;

3. Wembley Park Drive, between Nos. 139 and 141 Wembley Park Drive and Bridge Road, Wembley.
