THE A27 TRUNK ROAD (FALMER LAY-BYS) NO WAITING ORDER 2024

National Highways Limited(a) gives notice that they have made an Order under powers conferred by Sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2)(c) and 4(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A27 Trunk Road in the District of Lewes in the County of East Sussex and the Unitary Authority of the City of Brighton and Hove.

The Order was made on 14th June 2024 and comes into force 29th June 2024.

The notice of proposal to make the Order (reference 4621337) was published in issue number 64392 of the London Gazette on the 10th May 2024 and the effect of the order is as described in that notice, including revocation of existing Orders.

A copy of the Made Order and a plan illustrating the proposals may be inspected at: -

(i) Reception, Brighton and Hove Albion Amex Stadium, Village Way, Brighton, BN1 9BL during office hours, contact megan.morris@brightonandhovealbion.com or Tomislav.Majic@brightonandhovealbion.com; and

(ii) Reception, Brighton and Hove City Council, Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ, during office hours.

until the end of the legally obligated period, 26th July 2024, being a minimum of 6 weeks from the date of making the Order.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court, quoting the reference NH/SE/2024/A27/FALMER LAY-BYS.
