The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (South East) (No.20) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of two irregular shaped areas of highway, comprising highway verge, as lies off High Street at Worthing, in the Borough of Worthing. This is to enable development as permitted by Worthing Borough Council, under references AWDM/1439/23 and AWDM/1196/23.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/S247/SE/5758). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Worthing Borough Council, Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 11 July 2024.
