BARBOT CLOSE N9, BEECH CLOSE N9, BYLAND CLOSE N21, HYDEFIELD COURT N9, NESTOR AVENUE N21, TASMANIA TERRACE N18, THE RIDE EN3 AND WOODSTOCK CRESCENT N9 – ‘AT ANY TIME’ WAITING RESTRICTIONS.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:

(a) Extend the existing “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north-west side of Barbot Close from the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 to a point 4.4 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 7 Barbot Close;

(b) Introduce new “at any time” waiting restrictions on the south-east side of Barbot Close from a point 1.5 metres south-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 7 Barbot Close to a point 41 metres south-west of that point;

(c) Introduce new “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north-west side of Barbot Close between a point in line with the south-westerly flank wall of flats 14 – 22 Barbot Close, around the turning head and southern extent of the carriageway and back up the south-east side of Barbot Close by 5.1 metres;

(d) Introduce new “at any time” waiting restrictions on the south-east side of Beech Close from a point 1 metre north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 11 and 12 and the south-western kerb-line of Woodstock Crescent;

(e) Introduce new “at any time” waiting restrictions on the south-west side of Woodstock Crescent from a point 5 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 12 and 14 Woodstock Crescent and a point 27 metres south-east of that point;

(f) Introduce new “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north-west side of Byland Close from the southwestern kerb-line of The Glade and a point 10 metres south-west of that point;

(g) Extend the existing “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north-west to south-east arm of Hydefield Court on the south-west side, between a point 14.5 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of the north-east to south-west arm of Hydefield Court and a point 29 metres south-east of a point opposite the north-western wall of Nos. 2 to 24 Hydefield Court;

(h) Change all the existing single yellow line restrictions (no parking from 10am – 11am Mondays to Fridays inclusive) in Nestor Avenue to “at any time” waiting restrictions;

(i) Extend the existing “at any time” waiting restrictions on the south-east side of Tasmania Terrace from the south-western kerb-line of Queensland Avenue to a point 12 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 9 and 11 Tasmania Terrace;

(j) Extend the existing “at any time” waiting restrictions on the south-east side of The Ride between the north-eastern kerb-line of Hertford Road and a point 64 metres north-east of that kerb-line;

(k) Change the existing single yellow line restrictions (no parking from 8am – 6:30pm Mondays to Saturdays inclusive) in The Ride on the south-east side between a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Hertford Road and a point 27 metres north-east of that kerb-line to “at any time” waiting restrictions; and

(l) Change the existing single yellow line restrictions (no parking from 8am – 6:30pm Mondays to Saturdays inclusive) in The Ride on the south-east side between a point 36 metres north-east the north-eastern kerb-line of Hertford Road, Enfield and a point 12.4 metres north-east of that point to “at any time” waiting restrictions.

3. A copy of the proposed Order, plans and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive. 5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order, or make any other representations in respect of it should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection stating the grounds thereof, to the Head of Highways, Traffic and Parking, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD, or to traffic@enfield.gov.uk quoting the reference TG52/1565, by 7th August 2024.
