TRISTRAM DRIVE N9 AND BARBOT CLOSE N9 – ‘AT ANY TIME’ WAITING RESTRICTIONS.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) have made the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 254) Order 2024 under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Order which will come into operation on 17th July 2024 will be to make the temporary “at any time” waiting restrictions in Tristram Drive and Barbot Close N9 permanent:

Tristram Drive N9

(i) The north and north-east side, between a point 10 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Victoria Road and its junction with Barbot Close; and

(ii) The south and south-west side, between a point 17.2 metres east of the eastern boundary of No. 16c Sunnyside Road East and its junction with Barbot Close.

Barbot Close N9

(iii) The north-west side, between the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Barbot Close and a point 13 metres north of the northern wall of No. 1 Barbot Close; and

(iv) The south-east side, between a point 7 metres south of the southernmost wall of Nos. 76 and 78 Barbot Close and a point 2 metres north of the northern wall of Nos. 76 and 78 Barbot Close.

3. Copies of the Order, and any other relevant documents, can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, on Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 5pm inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made. The made Order, notice and plan can also be inspected online at: https://www.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
