NOTICE OF FORFEITURE WITHOUT COURT ORDER

PROCEEDS OF CRIME ACT 2002, PART 5, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 297A

IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2015 NO. 857

That on the 15th February 2024, a quantity of cash, namely - £1,165.00cash was found on Rhon Gayle, last known address of 19 Stephenson Court, Osborne Street, Slough SL1 1TN.

Senior Appropriate Officer and Accredited Financial investigator Julie Thompson of South East Regional Organised Crime Unit, a senior officer within the meaning of S.297A(6), has confirmed that she is satisfied that the cash, or part –

(a) Is recoverable property, or

(b) Is intended by any person for use in unlawful conduct.

Any person, whether a recipient of this notice or not, may object to the proposed forfeiture within the period for objecting.

The period for objecting is at least 30 days starting with the day after this notice is given (issued on 5th July 2024 and which has already been posted to the last known address). The period for objecting to this notice expires on 12th August 2024.

An objection means a written objection sent to AFI C8345 Dominique Lockwood at Dominique.Lockwood@thamesvalley.police.uk and Simon.Howells@thamesvalley.police.uk Alternatively if e-mail is not available, by post to Asset Recovery Team (South), ECU, Loddon Valley Police Station, Lower Earley, Reading RG6 4PS.

If no objection is received at the above e-mail or postal addresses within the prescribed period stated herein the cash will be forfeited.
