D. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (LOADING PLACES) (2009, NO.1) (AMENDMENT NO.* 59) ORDER 2024

1. The London Borough of Hounslow hereby gives notice that on 24th July 2024 it made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into operation on 5th August 2024.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading, Parking Places and Disabled Parking Bays Orders will be to facilitate improvements to the public realm in the vicinity of Nos.1-15 Grove Park Road through the relocation and reallocation of the on-street parking bays. The overall number of ‘pay-by-phone’ parking bays will be reduced by three. The hours of operation for the ‘pay-by-phone’ will be extended to 9am to 5pm, with the first 30 mins of parking continuing to be free. Eight of the existing shared-use bays within the area will be converted to a mixture of ‘pay-by-phone’ parking bays, a loading bay and waiting restrictions. The number of resident parking bays will be increased by one.

3. The general effect of the Loading Places Order will be to facilitate the introduction of a Goods Vehicle Only loading bay on Spencer Road adjacent to its junction with Grove Park Road.

4. Documents giving further information of the Orders can be viewed for a period of six weeks from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
