THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT NO. 9) ORDER 2024

[NOTE: This Notice is about minor amendments to waiting, loading, and parking places restrictions in various locations in the Borough].

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge made on 14 August 2024 the above named Order.

2. The general effect of the Order which comes into force on 23 August 2024 is in: -

(1) Adelaide Road, the north-east side, revoke the disabled bay and extend the payment parking bay in this location outside the flank wall of No. 104 Thorold Road;

(2) Buckingham Road, the north-east side outside St. Mary’s Church, (a) remove single yellow line and extend the payment parking bays in this area, (b) revoke 12 metres of payment parking bays and install two disabled bays adjacent to the entrance to the cemetery gates;

(3) Grove Park, the south-east side, convert approximately 14.6 metres of existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines west of the junction of The Avenue;

(4) Herent Drive, the north-west side, introduce double yellow line junction protection to the entrances (a) opposite Nos. 8 and 10 Herent Drive and (b) opposite Nos. 14 to 18 Herent Drive;

(5) Heron Mews, both sides, convert 10 metres of the existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines from the junction of Morland Road;

(6) Ingleby Road, the north and south sides, introduce 10 metres of double yellow lines from the south-western kerb-line of Melbourne Road;

(7) Marion Close, convert the existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines along (a) west side full length, (b) east side rear of no. 19 New North Road;

(8) Melbourne Road, the south-west side, introduce 10 metres of double yellow lines from the north-western kerb-line and south-eastern kerb-line of Ingleby Road;

(9) Mellows Road, the east and west sides, introduce double yellow lines from the southern kerb-line of Stradbroke Grove;

(10) Morland Road, both sides, convert the existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines;

(11) Norman Road, the north side, extend the double yellow lines to the party wall of Nos. 84 and 86 Norman Road;

(12) Purleigh Avenue, the south-east side, introduce approximately 4 metres of double yellow lines across the entrance to footpath No. 29;

(13) Roding Lane North, both sides, introduce double yellow lines from the northern kerb-line of Southend Road to a point 10 north-east of the inner slip road kerb-line of Southend Road;

(14) Southend Road, both sides of the inner slip road, install 10 metres of double yellow lines from the western kerb-line of Roding Lane North;

(15) Stradbroke Grove, the south side, introduce double yellow lines on the west and east sides of the junction with Mellows Road;

(16) The Avenue, the south side, convert approximately 37 metres of existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines at the junction of Grove Park;

(17) The Terrace, all sides of the northern and southern central islands, introduce double yellow lines between the eastern kerb-line of High Road and a point 34 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Broomhill Road.

3. A copy of the Order may be examined along with map-based plans at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday inclusive (except on Bank/public holidays), until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
