THE LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE

THE REDBRIDGE (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2024

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge made on 21 August 2024 the above named Order.

2. The general effect of the Order which comes into force on 23 August 2024 is: - (1) to amend the methods of payment applicable to all car parks; (2) to delete CP25 Ley Street Multi-Storey Car Park; (3) to introduce a new parking tariff into CP45 Ley Street Depot operational at all times (up to 1 hour £1.85, up to 2 hours £3.10, up to 3 hours £4.50, over 3 hours £10); (4) to introduce a new CP2 Ley Street Depot (rear yard) car park, operational at all times, for permit holders only; (5) to make administrative amendments to the Order (no changes in car parks) to consolidate the operating days, times and tariffs of all car parks.

3. A copy of the Order may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday inclusive (except on Bank/public holidays), until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
