THE ISLINGTON (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.

2) The general effect of the Orders would be to: a) introduce dedicated disabled bays at the following locations:

i) outside No. 2 Benwell Road;

ii) outside Nos. 464–466 Caledonian Road;

iii) outside Nos. 152–190 Highbury New Park;

iv) outside Nos. 29–31, Nos. 57–59, and Nos. 75–77 Mackenzie Road (3 bays total);

v) outside Nos. 128–132 Mildmay Road (2 bays);

vi) outside Nos. 153–155 Offord Road;

vii) outside Nos. 6–8 Queensland Road; and

viii) outside No. 32 Wedmore Gardens;

b) amend existing parking bays to allow for the bays at the locations listed in 2(a); and

c) make minor amendments to the map schedules to ensure they accurately reflect on-street operation (no changes will be made on-street as part of this amendment).

3) A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection. 4) Any person who wishes to object, or to make other representations about the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which they are made to Islington Environment, P O Box 2025, PERSHORE, WR10 9BU (quoting reference 8085), within the period of twenty-one days from the date on which this Notice is published.
