1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham (“the Council”) on 16 September 2024 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to convert an existing paid-for parking place (one hour maximum stay) and existing ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on the south-east side of Swete Street near its junction with High Street E13 into a Plaistow North (PN) permit holders only parking place.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 20 September 2024 and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection by appointment during normal office hours at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU, by telephoning 020 3373 6415 or by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
