1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.

2) The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) introduce cycle hire bays at the locations listed in Schedule 1 to this notice;

b) in the locations referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above, to remove 10 metres (or, where given, the length given in the Schedule to this Notice) of existing permit, resident permit, pay-by-phone, or shared use parking spaces; or ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions to accommodate the cycle hire bays; and

c) make various other amendments to the map schedules so that they accurately reflect the on-street parking layout. These amendments will not result in changes on-street.

3) A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection.
