THE NOTTINGHAM CITY COUNCIL (RIVER TRENT CYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE) SCHEME 2024
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that on 19 November 2024 she has confirmed the above Scheme which was made by The Nottingham City Council under section 106(3) of the Highways Act 1980 and which, as confirmed, authorises the Council to construct a pedestrian and cycle bridge over the navigable waters of the River Trent commencing at The Basin (to the west of Portside Street) in the City of Nottingham and terminating on West Bridgford public footpath no. 12 in Lady Bay in the Borough of Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire.
Copies of the Scheme (as confirmed) and of the relevant plans and specifications may be inspected free of charge at

Copies of the instrument of confirmation of the Scheme which is entitled “The Nottingham City Council (River Trent Cycle and Pedestrian Bridge Scheme 202x Confirmation Instrument 202x” and which contains a copy of the relevant Scheme as confirmed, can be obtained at www.legislation.gov.uk or purchased either through booksellers or direct from Government bookshops (The Stationery Office (https://tsoshop.co.uk)).
Any person aggrieved by the Scheme and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Scheme, may, within 6 weeks from 11 December 2024 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Scheme or of any provision contained therein.
