Notice of missing landlord

MISSING LANDLORD – LEASEHOLD REFORM HOUSING & URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT 1993 (AS AMENDED) (“THE 1993 ACT”)

Take notice that Karlene Page, c/o Ronald Fletcher Baker LLP, 77 Baker Street, London, W1U 6RF as leasehold owner of the ground floor flat, 37 Rainham Road, Kensal Rise, London, NW10 5DL, registered under HM Land registry title number NGL472249 (Ground Floor Flat 37 Rainham Road), requires that notice of their intention to extend the term of their lease be served on the current landlord who cannot be found. The freehold of the property is registered under HM Land Registry title number NGL66580 with the freehold owners stated to be Martin John Chillcott and Karen Elizabeth Steven of Ground Floor with their last address registered at Land Registry being the Ground floor Flat, 37 Rainham Road, but Ms Page has lived at this address since 1999.

Ms Page has not received any communication from the freehold owners since she became the registered owner of the lease of the Ground Floor Flat 37 Rainham Road on 08 October 1999. Ms Page intends to apply to the County Court, under the provisions of the Leasehold Reform Housing & Urban Development Act 1993, for a vesting order to have her lease extended, if she is unable to give notice to the landlord with their location unknown.
