The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.23) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up the carparking area of the former Cock and Magpie Public House as lies off Epping Road at Epping Green in the District of Epping Forest. This is to enable development as permitted by the Secretary of State for the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, under reference APP/J1535/W/23/3318533.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/5844). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Epping Forest District Council, 323 High Street, Epping, Essex, CM18 4BZ.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 8 January 2025.
