DIRECT SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT

NOTICE OF EFFECTIVE DATE AND FINAL CLAIMS DEADLINE

We refer to the scheme document issued by CX Reinsurance Company Limited (in administration) (the “Company”) and dated 7 October 2024 in relation to the Direct Scheme (the “Direct Scheme Document”).

A copy of the Direct Scheme Document is available on the Website at https://www.ey.com/en_uk/cxreinsurancecompanydirectscheme, or on request from the Company on the contact details below.

Terms used but not defined in this notice shall have the meaning given to them in the Direct Scheme Document.

The court hearing to sanction the Direct Scheme took place on 17 January 2025. By an order of the same date, the Court sanctioned the Direct Scheme. The order was subsequently delivered to the Registrar of Companies on 20 January 2025 as required by the Companies Act 2006, and the Direct Scheme accordingly became effective.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that:

• the Effective Date of the Direct Scheme is 20 January 2025; and

• the Final Claims Deadline is 11.59pm (London time) on 21 July 2025.

IMPORTANT: ALL DIRECT SCHEME CREDITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST SUBMIT THEIR DIRECT SCHEME CLAIMS TO THE COMPANY BY NO LATER THAN THE FINAL CLAIMS DEADLINE.

Direct Scheme Creditors will not be entitled to receive any payment from the Company in respect of a Direct Scheme Claim unless that Direct Scheme Claim is notified to the Company by the Direct Scheme Creditor on a Claim Form by the Final Claims Deadline, except in respect of Direct Scheme Claims which are:

• set out in a Voting and Proxy Form which the Direct Scheme Creditor elected to have treated as its Claim Form; or

• set out by the Company as an Unpaid Agreed Claim on a Claim Form sent by the Company to the Direct Scheme Creditor.

Claim forms must be submitted by email or post in accordance with the instructions on the Claim Form.

A blank Claim Form may be downloaded from the Website at https://www.ey.com/en_uk/cxreinsurancecompanydirectscheme. Alternatively, Direct Scheme Creditors may request a paper copy of the Direct Scheme Document and the Claim Form from the Company on the contact details below.
