Notice under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925

Bonas & Company Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme (“the Scheme”)

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27(1) of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Trustees of the Scheme ("the Trustees") are winding up the Scheme. The wind-up of the Scheme is expected to commence in February 2025.

Benefits for Scheme members and other beneficiaries have been insured with various insurers, meaning such benefits are now payable directly by those insurers.

We have already taken steps to contact all of our known members and beneficiaries and we believe that we have the names of everyone who has a right to benefits. However, if you have not yet been contacted and you believe you are entitled to benefits from the Scheme or any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Scheme but have not received announcements from the Trustees, please write as soon as possible to the Trustees by emailing david.summersgill@aon.com, or by writing to this address:

If you have received communication from the Trustees regarding the wind up of the Scheme, then you do not need to take any action.

This notice concerns only members of the Bonas & Company Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme. If you have additional benefits in any other pension schemes, these are unaffected.

Any correspondence should include your full name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number, the period during which you worked for Bonas & Company Limited, Backes & Strauss Limited or any associated company, and any employment details and documents supporting your claim (if applicable).

All claims must be made on or before 31 March 2025. In addition, if any person or persons have any other claims against or interest in the Scheme, they are requested to set out particulars of such a claim in writing on or before 31 March 2025.
