MAF EUROPE UK PENSION SCHEME (“THE SCHEME”)

This Notice relates to the Scheme, which was open to the accrual of benefits from 1 January 2000, and was closed to new entrants on 20 December 2006.

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustees of the Scheme hereby give notice of their intention to wind up the Scheme and distribute its assets, and require any person having an interest in the Scheme to send particulars of his interest or claim in respect of the Scheme to the Trustees within the next two months. After this time, the Trustees may distribute all or any of the assets of the Scheme, to or among the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the interests or claims, whether formal or not of which the Trustees then have had notice. The Trustees shall not, then, be liable to any person of whose claim the Trustees have not had notice at or before the time of distribution.

Notification is not required from those persons whose benefits have been secured by individual policies with Just, Aviva, Rothesay, Scottish Widows, Canada Life, or who have already received correspondence relating to the wind-up of this Scheme from the Trustees.

Interested parties should write to the following address giving full details of their claim and any benefit that they think they are entitled to, including their full name, address, national insurance number, dates of employment, and copies of any relevant documents:
