AMENDMENTS TO WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES – BEDFONT LANE CPZ, FELTHAM

A. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.354) ORDER 2025

B. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (BEDFONT LANE) (PARKING PLACES) (2009, NO.29) (AMENDMENT NO.4) ORDER 2025

1. The London Borough of Hounslow hereby gives notice that, it made the above Orders on 12 February 2025 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Orders will come into operation on 24 March 2025.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to: -

a) Increase the times of operation for the No Waiting restrictions to ‘Monday-Sunday 9am-8pm’ in:

a. Bedfont Lane; south-west side from No.97 Bedfont Lane to Bedfont Lane Community Centre; south-west side outside Nos. 113-115 Bedfont Lane; south-west side outside No. 123 Bedfont Lane; north-east side from a point 2.5 metres south-east of the north-western building line of Nos. 1-9 Locomotive Drive to No.120 Bedfont Lane;

b. Sandycombe Road; north-west side outside Nos. 2-4 Sandycombe Road; south-east opposite the junction with Tynan Close; &

c. Sydney Road; south-east side outside No. 21 Sydney Road; south-east side outside the common property boundary of Nos. 19 and 20 Sydney Road.

b) Replace existing single yellow line restrictions with No waiting at any time restrictions in:

a. Sandycombe Road; north-west side outside No.2 Sandycombe Road; north-west side outside No. 10 Sandycombe Road; north-west and north-east side outside No. 22 Sandycombe Road; south-west side opposite the south-western property boundary of No. 22 Sandycombe Road; north-west and south-west side opposite the south-western property boundary of No.21 Sandycombe Road; north-east and south-east side from the south-eastern boundary of No. 21 Sandycombe Road in a clockwise direction to the south-westernmost extremity of Sandycombe Road, including the turning head to the rear of Nos. 7-12 Sydney Road; south-east and north-east side on the corner fronting No. 21 Sandycombe Road; &

b. Sydney Road; north-west & north-east side outside Nos. 1-6 Sydney Road; north-east side outside No.6 Sydney Road north-eastwards for so much as is public highway including the turning head; south-east and south-west side from No.13 Sydney Road to No. 18 Sydney Road including the turning head fronting Nos. 16 & 17 Sydney Road.

c) Extend existing No Waiting at any time restrictions in:

a. Sandycombe Road; north-west side outside No.2 Sandycombe Road;

b. Sydney Road; from a point 1 metre north-east of the north-eastern boundary of No. 21 Sydney Road to the junction with Bedfont Lane; &

c. Tynan Close; north-east side from the junction with Sandycombe Road to a point 4 metres north-west of the north-western building line of No. 105b Bedfont Lane.

3. The general effect of the Bedfont Lane Parking Places Order would be to:

a) Implement shared use permit holder and paid bays in place of existing resident permit holders only (Bedfont Lane CPZ) parking bays in:

a. Manor Place; south-east side adjacent to the north-western property boundary of No. 80 Bedfont Lane;

b. Sandycombe Road; south-east side adjacent to the north-western property boundary of No. 93 Bedfont Lane; &

c. Sydney Road; north-west side adjacent to the south-eastern property boundary of No. 77 Bedfont Lane.

b) To change the hours of operation for all Resident permit holders bays (Bedfont Lane CPZ) from ‘Monday-Friday 9.30am-6pm’ to ‘Monday-Sunday 9am-8pm’ in:

a. Sandycombe Road;

b. Sydney Road; &

c. Tynan Close.

4. Documents giving further information of the Order can be viewed for a period of six weeks from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
