ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 46A
VARIATION OF PAY ON-STREET PARKING CHARGES, RESIDENTS, DOCTOR, MOTORCYCLE, CAR CLUB AND ANTIQUE DEALERS PARKING PERMIT CHARGES, HOUSING ESTATE ROADS PERMIT TO PARK CHARGES AND ADMINISTRATION CHARGES ASSOCIATED WITH ALL ON-STREET PARKING PERMITS
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intend from 1st April 2025 to vary the charges for pay on-street parking (per hour), residents, doctor’s, motorcycles, car club and antique dealers parking permits, for permits to park in housing estate roads specified in Article 3 to this Notice and administrative charges associated with all on-street parking permits, under section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and in accordance with section 25 of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996.
2. The current charges and the new charges, coming into operation from the 1st April 2025, are shown in the following table (note: all charges relate to permit validity periods of 12 months, unless otherwise specified; new, appropriate charges for permits of less than 12 months validity will also apply.
