1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow on 10th March 2025 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be:
(a) on the north side of Greenhill Way, to:
(i) replace the payment parking place (3 bays) adjacent to Byron Court, with 15 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions;
(ii) replace the payment parking place (7 bays) adjacent to No. 7 Byron Road, with 39 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions;
(ii) replace the electric vehicle parking place (2 bay) outside No. 34 (Jayanti House) with 11 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions;
(iv) replace the payment parking place (6 bays) adjacent to No. 5 Angel Road, with 34 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions;
(b) on the south side of Greenhill Way, to replace 202 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions between the rear of No. 86 St. Ann’s Road (Royal Oak Public House) and the rear of No. 34 St. Ann’s Road with:
(i) four payment parking places (8 bays / 43.5 metres in total);
(ii) five loading bays (73 metres in total); and
(iii) six lengths of double yellow line “at any time“ waiting and loading restrictions (74 metres in total).
(c) on the north side of Junction Road, to:
(i) introduce 10 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions at the western extremity; and
(ii) replace the payment parking place (5 bays) outside the Gym Group, Bradstowe House, with 29 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions;
(d) on the south side of Junction Road, to:
(i) introduce 3 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions at the western extremity; and
(ii) replace 5 metres of single yellow line waiting restrictions outside No. 2 with double yellow line “at any time" waiting restrictions; and
(e) on the north side of Kymberley Road to:
(i) introduce 15 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions opposite Kings House; and
(ii) replace one disabled parking bay with a motorcycle parking place (6 metres).
3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 24th March 2025 and of relevant previous Orders can be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
