PENSION SCHEME NOTICE

WHITELEY HOMES TRUST RETIREMENT BENEFITS SCHEME (“THE SCHEME”)

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 (as amended) that the Scheme’s benefits are shortly to be secured with an insurance company, and that any person (whether member, creditor or other) having a claim against or claiming to be beneficially interested in the Scheme (whether as a member, widow, widower or other dependant of a member or otherwise) is required to submit details in writing of their claim or interest.

If you have been contacted by the Trustee or have received correspondence from the Trustee in the last two years, or if you are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, there is no need to respond to this notice.

However, if you think you are entitled to benefits under the Scheme, but have not recently been contacted by the Trustee, please contact us in writing at the Whiteley Homes Trust Retirement Benefits Scheme Administration Team, Barnett Waddingham LLP, Decimal Place, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham HP6 5FG, or alternatively by email, whiteleyhomestrust@barnett-waddingham.co.uk. You should include details of your full name, your current address, National Insurance number, a note of any benefits to which you think you may be entitled and copies of any evidence that you can provide to confirm your entitlement. Alternatively, if you need clarification about the information required, please call 0333 1111 222.

Beneficiaries should make claims as set out above not later than 2 months from the date of this notice. The Trustee is in the process of securing benefits with an insurance company for the members and beneficiaries of the Scheme. Therefore, the Trustee want to ensure that their records include all members and beneficiaries so that the correct benefits are insured. If the Trustee does not hear from you, they will proceed with the insurance of the Scheme’s benefits, having regard only to the claims and interest of which they have received notice.
