The Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003

Notice is hereby given that in exercise of the power conferred on it by Article 4 of the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002, the Department of the Environment has made the Pollution Prevention and the Control Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003. The Regulations set out a pollution control regime for the purpose of implementing the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Directive 96/61/EC and for regulating other environmentally polluting activities not covered by the Directive.
