Control of Pollution
The Environment (Designation of Relevant Directives) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003
Notice is hereby given that in exercise of the power conferred on it by paragraph 20(2)(d) of Schedule 1 to the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002, the Department of the Environment has made the Environment (Designation of Relevant Directives) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003. This Order designates four directives as relevant directives for the purposes of paragraph 20(2)(d) of Schedule 1 to the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002.
The directives are Directive 1999/13/EC on the limitation of emissions of volatile organic compounds due to the use of organic solvents in certain activities and installations, Directive 2000/53/EC on end-of-life vehicles, Directive 2000/76/EC on the incineration of waste and Directive 2001/80/EC on the limitation of emissions of certain pollutants into the air from large combustion plants.
