NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that an application has been made to SEPA by Landcatch Ltd for consent to discharge up to 6480 cubic metres per day of trade effluent to the Ormsary Water at NGR NR 7420 7175 from fish farm tanks at Ormsary, Lochgilphead. This application refers to an existing installation.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 5PP, not later than 11th March 2003 quoting reference WPC/W/30891.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the above address and Tarbert Post Office, Campbeltown Road, Tarbert at all reasonable hours and by prior arrangement with the SEPA Argyll Office at 2 Smithy Lane, Lochgilphead (Tel No: 01546 602876).
