NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that the following applications for consent to discharge have been made to SEPA by Cala Homes (Scotland) Ltd:

Ref:

     WPC/W/30946 - Up to 47.7 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to the Kittoch Water at NGR NS 6189 5539 from a sewage treatment plant serving a housing development at Macneish Way, Stewartfield. East Kilbride G74 4TT.

     Ref:

     WPC/W/30947 - Up to 30 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to the Thorntonhall Burn at NHR NS 5865 5550 from a sewage treatment plant serving a housing development at Laigh Braehead, Thorntonhall G74 5AJ.

Any person who wishes to make representations about either of these applications should do so in writing to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP, not later than 4th July 2003 quoting the reference number.

Copies of the applications may be inspected free of charge at the above address at all reasonable hours.
