NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL (ETTRICK WALK TO TRYST WALK, CUMBERNAULD) FOOTPATH CLOSURE AND DIVERSION ORDER 2003

North Lanarkshire Council hereby give notice that they have made an Order under Section 208 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 authorising the stopping up of the footpath shown shaded yellow and hatched green on the plan annexed and subscribed as relative to the said Order. The Order is about to be submitted to the Scottish Minister(s) for confirmation or to be confirmed as an unopposed Order. The footpath will be stopped up and closed to all traffic (including pedestrian traffic). The stopping up of the footpath is necessary to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the said Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.

A copy of the Order and relevant plan showing the footpath to be stopped up may be inspected at the offices of either the Department of Planning and Environment, North Lanarkshire Council, Council Offices, Bron Way, Cumbernauld, or at the offices of the Head of Legal Services, North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Motherwell, by any person, free of charge, at all reasonable hours during a period of Twenty eight days following the appearance of this advertisement.

Within that period, any person, by written notice to the undernoted (quoting reference PC PE SUO 58/ELG), may make representations or objections with respect to the Order.
