NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Highlands & Islands Airports Ltd for consent to discharge 20 m3 per week of Fire Fighting Training Foam Effluent to Land at NGR NL 999 445 from the Fire Training Ground, Tiree Airport, Isle of Tiree PA77 6UW.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP not later than 10th February 2004 quoting reference WPC/N/31247.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above offices of SEPA at all reasonable hours and by prior arrangement with the SEPA Argyll Office at 2 Smithy Lane, Lochgilphead (Tel No 01546 602876). It may also be inspected at Scarinish Post Office.
