THE ARDERSIER GLACIAL DEPOSITS (HILLHEAD FARM) NATURE CONSERVATION ORDER 1996 (REVOCATION) ORDER 2004
Notice is hereby given that on 27th July 2004 the Scottish Ministers, acting under section 29 of and schedule 11 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, having considered the Ardersier Glacial Deposits (Hillhead Farm) Nature Conservation Order 1996 (“the 1996 Order”), dated 29th May 1996, which was confirmed by the Secretary of State on 24th February 1997, and having noted that the conservation of the land protected by the 1996 Order has been secured, have decided to make the Ardersier Glacial Deposits (Hillhead Farm) Nature Conservation Order 1996 (Revocation) Order 2004 (“the Revocation Order”).
The Revocation Order will not take effect until it is confirmed by the Scottish Ministers.
The general effect of the Revocation Order is to revoke the 1996 Order.
Representations or objections with respect to the Revocation Order may be made to John Tait at the Scottish Executive’s Wildlife and Habitats Unit, Victoria Quay, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6QQ no later than 28 days from the publication of this notice. They should be made in writing and should state the title of the Revocation Order and, in the case of objections, the grounds on which they are made should also be stated.
Copies of the 1996 Order, the plan referred to in it and the Revocation Order have been deposited at the offices of the Highland Council, Regional Buildings, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness IV3 5NX and may be inspected there free of charge at all reasonable hours.
