NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge 1.6 l/s of trade effluent arising from the production of potable water to controlled waters namely the Burn of Heldale at NGR ND 2735 9196 from South Hoy & Flotta Water Treatment Works.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrars, SEPA Dingwall Office, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall, IV15 9XB not later than 2nd November 2004 quoting reference WPC/N/71667.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address and at the SEPA Orkney Office, Nortlantic House, Scott’s Road, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1RE.
