NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge up to 84.7 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to the Firth of Clyde at NGR NS 025 435 from a new septic tank serving part of Corrie, Isle of Arran.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP not later than 3rd January 2005 quoting reference WPC/W/71869.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address, at the local office at 31 Miller Road, Ayr, KA7 2AX and at the North Ayrshire Council Office in Lamlash at all reasonable hours.
