NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Trust Housing Association for consent to discharge up to 2.4 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to the Knockenkelly Burn at NGR NS 0465 2735 from a housing development at Fen Place, Whiting Bay, Isle of Arran.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP not later than 1 February 2005, quoting reference WPC/W/72143.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at SEPA at the above address and at North Ayrshire Council, Shore Road, Lamlash, Isle of Arran during all reasonable working hours and by prior arrangement at the local SEPA office at 31 Miller Road, Ayr KA7 2AX (Tel 01292 294000).
