NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge up to 847 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to West Loch Tarbert at NGR NB 1470 0037 from West Loch Tarbert Septic Tank outfall, Tarbert, Isle of Harris.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA Dingwall Office, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall IV15 9XB, not later than 22 March 2005, quoting Ref WPC/N/72329.

A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address, at the SEPA Western Isles Office, No 2 James Square, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis HS1 2QN and at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar Offices, Tarbert.
