NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Mr Balbir Sumal for consent to discharge up to 5.56 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to the Pow Burn at NGR NS 394 316 from Balbir’s Restaurant at Kilmarnock Road, off A77, Symington, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP not later than 26 April 2005, quoting reference WPC/W/72467.

A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address during all reasonable working hours and by prior arrangement at the District Office, 31 Miller Road, Ayr KA7 2AX, (Tel 01292294000).
