NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge 6.3 m3 per day of trade effluent to the Abhainn a’ Mhuillinn at NGR NG 7950 7802 from Gairloch Water Treatment Works, Gairloch, Wester Ross.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA Dingwall Office, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall Business Park, Dingwall IV15 9XB not later than 28 June 2005 quoting reference WPC/N/72267.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address and at The Highland Council, Gairloch Service Point, Achtercairn, Gairloch IV21 2BP.
