NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge a maximum of 96.87 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent to the Papana Water at NGR NT 5912 7088 from a new sewage treatment works to serve Garvald Village.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to: Senior Registry Officer, SEPA, Clearwater House, Heriot Watt Research Park, Avenue North, Riccarton, Edinburgh EH14 4AP, not later than 5 July 2005 quoting reference WPC/E/72642.

A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address.
