In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that applications have been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for Permits under regulation 7 of the Regulations by D.Geddes (Contractors) Ltd, in respect of activities being carried out, namely Landfill, in an installation at Hatton Mill Landfill Site, Friockheim, Angus

The applications contain a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installations on the environment.

These applications may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, 7 Whitefriars Crescent, Perth, PH2 0PA between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on working days. Please quote reference number PPC/A/1009964.

Written representation concerning these applications may be made to SEPA at the above address, or sent to e-mail address consultee.responses@SEPA.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this notice, will be taken into consideration in determining these applications. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.

Notice is hereby given that an Environmental Statement and planning application (Reference S/06/01001/FUL) have been submitted in respect of Construction of a Wind Farm Consisting of 15 Wind Turbine Generators and Ancillary Development, Including Access Tracks, Hard Standings, Wind Monitoring Mast and Control Building Land to North of Hartwood Hospital, Hartwood, Shotts.

A copy of the Environmental Statement and associated planning application with the plans and other documents submitted may be inspected during the hours of 8.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45 am to 4.15 pm on a Friday, excluding public holidays, at the Southern Area Office of the Planning and Environment Department, 303 Brandon Street, Motherwell, ML1 1RS and during opening hours at Cleland, Motherwell, Newmains, Shotts and Wishaw Libraries during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Copies of the Environmental Statement and supporting documents may be purchased from the applicant’s agent, WPS Holdings (UK) Ltd, 12 Rutland Square, Edinburgh, EH1 2BB (telephone 0131 228 7761, email hartwood@windprojects.com) at a cost of £200 per copy, £15 per CD copy, with Non-Technical Summary available free of charge.

The proposal also requires advertisement as an Article 12 5(B) Bad Neighbour Development, any person wishing to make representation about the application should submit their written comments within 28 days from the date of this notice to the Southern Area Office.
