Section 23—Pedestrian Crossings
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark proposes to introduce a Pelican pedestrian crossing in Newington Causeway, as detailed below. Controlled areas on either side of the proposed crossing would prohibit the waiting, loading and unloading of vehicles in the lengths of the road specified below. The existing zebra crossing and its controlled areas, in Newington Causeway, south of Avonmouth Street, is to be revoked.

The Pelican pedestrian crossing will commence at a distance of 31 metres south-west of the southernmost kerb-line of Avonmouth Street southwards for a distance of 3 metres. | The controlled area shall cover a distance of 19 metres in a north-east direction and 19 metres in a south-west direction from the limit of the crossing. |
