Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Wyevale Trees Ltd., of Kings Acre, Hereford, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Yazor Brook, at National Grid Reference SO 4750 4280 at Stretton Court Farm, Stretton Sugwas.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 30 cubic metres per hour, 550 cubic metres per day, 17,000 cubic metres per year between 1st November and 31st March each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. Abstraction during winter months only.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Stretton Farm Court, Stretton Sugwas, Hereford, between 8th January 1998 and 5th February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, PO Box 425, St. Mellons Business Park, St. Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0LT, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
