Highways Act 1980, Section 116 and 12th Schedule

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Salford, in exercise of the powers conferred on them, intend to apply to the Magistrates’ Court at Bexley Square, Salford, on 19th February 1998, at 9.45 a.m., for an Order pursuant to Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of Jonas Street, Salford, from back of footway of Elton Street in the southerly direction for a length of approxiamtely 28 metres.   The effect of the proposed Order is shown on the plan which may be inspected, free of charge, at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, during normal office hours (Ref.
