Highway at Challenge Way, off Park Lane, Wolverhampton
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (Metropolitan Borough of Wolverhampton) (No. 1) Order 199 ”, authorising the stopping-up of a length of highway at Challenge Way, off Park Lane, Wolverhampton. The Order as made will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the outline planning permission granted by Wolverhampton Metropolitan Borough Council, on 9th October 1997, under Ref. C/0668/97. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands, at the offices of the Director, Planning, Transport and Environment, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT, (quoting Ref. 5110/35/1/19) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Wolverhampton Metropolitan Borough Council, Civic Centre, St. Peter’s Square, Wolverhampton WV1 1RP. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 16th January 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order, or of any provision contained therein.
