Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Anglian Water Services Limited of Endurance House, Chivers Way, Histon, Cambridge CB4 4ZR, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 7/34/6/G/165 to abstract water from chalk boreholes including two at National Grid References TG 146 349 and TG 146 348 in the parish of Matlaske in the district of North Norfolk in the county of Norfolk.
  The variation being applied for is to authorise the use of an additional borehole at National Grid Reference TG 147 349. It is not proposed to change the current licensed quantities.
  A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the address given above and at Anglian Water Services Sheringham District Office, Common Lane, Sheringham, between 23rd January and 20th February 1998.
  Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period.
